Coronavirus / COVID-19 Update

Posted by Ewan Campbell on 16 March 2020

This is a testing time for everyone and as a community, we will need to support each other as best we can. If you are struggling, remember that Hillhead HC is part of your support network and help is available if required. I found this interesting reading:

The following is an update on the situation as it stands at 1pm - Monday 16th March. Please understand that the situation is fluid and likely to change. We will endeavour to keep the membership updated with the latest developments.

All matches have been suspended until further notice as instructed by Scottish Hockey.

The use of the pitches at Old Anniesland is now suspended until the 30th March for anyone other than the school. As such, pitch training has now been cancelled. Please do what you can to keep fit, while  minimising your risk of infection.

U16 Cup:
Understandably, Scottish Hockey has now postponed the U16 Cup. No date has been set for rearrangement, and subject to calendar availability, this event may not be rescheduled. Updates will be provided as they become available.

As it stands the 50th is still going ahead. However,  Hillhead HC will adhere to Government guidelines and policy set by Grand Central Hotel. Further updates will be provided as we get them. Your patience is appreciated.
