Juniors Hockey
Hillhead Junior H.C. has been based at Windyedge, Glasgow Academy’s artificial turf facility, for the last four years. Windyedge is a superb facility offering a full size hockey pitch as well as a second, half-sized pitch. This allows the section to divide the children both by ability and age with the younger kids aged 7 -16 years training in a safer and more controlled environment. The converse of this is allowing the older ones to express themselves and play at a more intense and high octane level. There are also opportunities for parents to spectate with fencing around the perimeter of both pitches.
