Welcome to Hillhead Hockey Club



Hillhead Hockey Club is one of the biggest in Scotland. It currently fields 7 men's and 6 ladies' outdoor elevens, 2 men's and 3 ladies' indoor teams competing at district and national level. Players of all levels of ability and age are welcome at Hillhead and assured of a regular game ... all teams compete in leagues and most in cup competitions.

The Men's 1st eleven compete in National League Division 1, with the Ladies' 1sts promoted once again to National 1. The Men's 1st indoor team also plays in National 1.

The Club's home base is at Woodend Bowling & Tennis Club, Chamberlain Road in the west of Glasgow.  Click here for a map. Most home matches are played at Jordanhill School (opposite Woodend), Windyedge and Old Anniesland (both accessed off Anniesland Road) and Balgray (accessed from Chesterfield Avenue, off Great Western Road).

The club has a thriving Junior section which meets on Sunday mornings, 10 - 12 noon at Windyedge, Anniesland Road. It caters for boys and girls from age 5 upwards and has fully qualified coaches.
